David J. Hunt, MD, FACS

Dr Hunt was born in England and raised in South Africa. He attended medical school at Marshall University, ophthalmology residency at VCU in Richmond Virginia and Retina fellowship at USF in Tampa Florida. He has been with Retina Consultants since 2000.

He is married with three children. His outside interests include fly fishing, vintage cars and playing guitar.

After thirty years as a physician and surgeon, I still sit down at the microscope and am amazed at the stunning complexity of the eye, and that I am allowed the privilege of operating on it to help others. Even on the busiest of days, I love my staff and patients, which makes this job an absolute pleasure.
